Wash That Sh*t

Clean hands first. Use unscented soap + warm water. Don’t scrub like a dirty dish, just rinse the goo.

Dry It Off

Pat, don’t attack. No rubbing, no towel-fight. Let it breathe a sec.

Moisturize (But Chill)

Use a petroleum-free lotion/aftercare. Thin layer only.

We’re hydrating a tattoo, not glazing a donut.

Keep the Routine

Wash → Dry → Light Moisture

Do that for 5 days minimum like a daily ritual.

Protect Your Ink

No soaking (pools, tubs, hot tubs) for 2 weeks.

Sun? Nah. Cover that beauty up or it WILL fade like your favorite band tee.

Don’t Pick, Scratch, or Peel. Let it flake on its own. Hands off.

Treat it right and your tattoo heals bold, loud, and built to last.

Saniderm / DermShield / Second Skin

(Different names, same overpriced sticky sheet.)

Peel That Sh*t

Hop in the shower and slowly peel a corner back over itself. No ripping, no hero moves. Take it easy, rockstar.

Wash It

Clean hands first. Use unscented soap + warm water.

Rinse the goo, don’t scrub your skin like you hate it.

Dry + Let It Breathe

Pat dry with a clean paper towel. Then let that bad boy air-dry for 5–10 minutes like it’s posing for album art.

Reapply the Sticker of Destiny

Slap on a fresh layer, smooth, steady, peel, apply, and press.

Rock It for 3–5 Days

If it gets sketchy, itchy, or annoying, ditch it and switch to aftercare balm or unscented lotion.

Clean, protected, and bold—your ink stays loud.

Mad Rabbit Aftercare Breakdown

Tattoo Wash

Use Mad Rabbit Tattoo Wash after removing your bandage and then 1–2 times a day. Gently clean with warm water and fragrance-free soap.

No scrubbing, no washcloth. Rinse and pat dry.

2. Soothing Gel

After every wash, apply a thin layer of Mad Rabbit Soothing Gel. Keeps fresh ink calm, hydrated, and able to breathe.

Use during the first 1–2 weeks of healing.

3. Balm Stick

When peeling starts to slow down, switch to the Mad Rabbit Balm Stick. Locks in moisture and keeps the tattoo bold.

Use as needed during healing and afterward.

4. Daily Lotion

Once the outer layer looks mostly healed, move to the Mad Rabbit Daily Lotion.

Use daily to keep skin healthy and your tattoo looking sharp long-term.

5. Sunscreen

After the tattoo is fully healed, protect it with Mad Rabbit SPF. Sunlight fades ink fast — so don’t let UV ruin your art.

Use the right product at the right time. Keep it clean. Let your tattoo heal loud and bold.

Note: You don’t have to use Mad Rabbit Aftercare, but choosing it helps support TOTS.

What’s Normal & What’s “Uh… Maybe Don’t Ignore That?”

Totally Normal (Chill, You’re Healing)

These are just your skin throwing a little attitude:

  • Light swelling, especially around joints

  • Warmth for the first couple days

  • Itching like it wants attention you’re not allowed to give

  • Peeling or flaking like crusty band merch

  • Mild bruising because your skin just got rocked

Not Normal (Time to Speak Up)

If your tattoo starts acting weird, don’t play tough:

  • Green or yellow goo leaking out

  • Funky smells like a forgotten gym bag

  • Hot and angry past day 5

  • Persistent bumps or rash (could be a reaction or you’re moisturizing it to death)

Most tattoos heal without drama. If it starts looking like a science experiment instead of art, get it checked.
